Years ago after a solo performance Corinne was called the blackest white voice of South Germany by the newspapers. Her start as lead singer of the band Carpe Noctem with whom she successfully supplied the area of Stuttgart and Poland with the right grove for over 6 years.
After the parting of the band because of job and study reasons Corinne decided to take part in a so far unique R&B-project. With Tony Ayers and JoMicro alias The Clique she gave her debut at the Popkom in Cologne in the year 2000 followed by several projects in the area of Soul and R&B which Corinne was able to gain a divers variety of music awards with like the Newcomer Contest in Weilimdorf in 2001 for example.
After all these projects Corinne was missing the performance in a band. Testing out several formations she finally seems to have found the right band now. It is an experiment to mix a soul voice with a rock band and a new sound of Vera Cruz is going to develop.
